3 Kierkegaard Quotes

I'm currently reading a paper on Existentialism, and was looking up some quotes online. I had to post these three quotes...

"Life can only be understood backwards; but it must be lived forwards."

"Life is not a problem to be solved, but a reality to be experienced."

and my personal favorite:

"If I were to wish for anything, I should not wish for wealth and power, but for the passionate sense of potential - for the eye which, ever young and ardent, sees the possible. Pleasure disappoints; possibility never."

These are all quotes from Soren Kierkegaard (1813-1855).
